Néstor J. Lo Presti Reyes
Néstor J. Lo Presti-Reyes is a shareholder in the Corporate Department. His practice areas include commercial lending, real estate transactions, secured transactions, loan workouts and restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, licensing and regulatory matters, notarial matters, corporate governance and general corporate matters.
Néstor has represented numerous local and international financial institutions in multiple large-scale financing transactions, including asset-based, real estate-based, syndicated and participated credit facilities, loan workouts and restructurings, loan portfolio acquisitions, discounted payoff transactions and foreclosure proceedings. Néstor has also been involved in transactions relating to the leasing, acquisition, disposition, development and operation of all types of real properties, including residential, commercial and industrial properties, planned communities, hotel/hospitality projects, renewable energy projects, shopping centers, office buildings and telecom tower sites. In addition, he has extensive experience in business formations and reorganizations, as well as in licensing and regulatory matters involving financial institutions and businesses in general.
Some of his representative transactions include acting as local counsel to the lenders in the financing and partial refinancing of the public-private partnership for the operation of Toll Roads PR-5 and PR-22, and in the financing of the public-private partnership for the operation of Toll Roads PR-20, PR-52, PR-53 and PR-66.
